  • No, you have received this email because you’re registered in our system as a Trustpilot user. This may be because you’re using our free services. For example, you may have previously claimed your company's Trustpilot profile page. If you still think we’ve made a mistake, please reach out to us at support@trustpilot.com.

  • We appreciate that you may be used to using Trustpilot in a language other than English. However, we’re obliged to send this email to you in English.

  • You do not need to take any specific action to accept the new terms. The new terms will apply with effect from 18 April 2022 without any further positive acceptance, confirmation, or action by you. Please let us know if you have any specific questions or concerns regarding this update. You can contact us at support@trustpilot.com or through your Customer Success Manager (if you have one).

  • Our new terms will apply to all business users whose use of Trustpilot is governed by our online Terms of Use and Sale for Businesses.

    This means that the new terms will apply to you if you are (i) a free business user or (ii) a paid business user that accepted our Terms of Use and Sale for Businesses when you entered into your subscription.

  • No, if your subscription with Trustpilot is governed by a historic Service Subscription Agreement (a SSA), the new terms will not apply to you. Your subscription will continue to be governed by your SSA.

  • The new terms will come into effect on 18 April 2022. You can read the new terms here.

  • We recommend you read the new terms carefully to ensure you understand them.

    We’re not able to give specific advice in relation to the changes we’ve made. But we want to highlight that we’ve listened to our customers and made an effort to make the terms more fair. For example, we’ve (i) introduced a more balanced position in relation to contractual liability for our paying customers, (ii) added further provisions around Trustpilot’s service obligations, and (iii) made updates to reflect changes in our product and the way we operate.
